Trying to stay on course

So far, so good with the budget this month. We have a long weekend coming up, though, so I need to keep that in mind. The pool will open for the kids, so that is free entertainment, and barbq foods will come out of grocery budget. I just have to say "no" to urges to eat out when I can cook instead, and I need to postpone front yard sprucing. Thr front looks fine, I have been wanting a little bench or something to perk up the front porch, that's all. Maybe I'll do some yard sale hunting this weekend and see if I can find something that will look good for less. One man's trash...

    Congrats on a good month. I love your idea of looking for used at garage sales. Sometimes an item just needs a new coat of paint...maybe you can find paint at the sales, too!
